The Couples & Family Programs provide a way for couples to enrich their lives by sharing their time together with a child who needs a friend and someone to provide acceptance, guidance and support.

The Program...
The program matches couples or families with a child for a unique relationship which can help broaden the life and experiences of a child. This relationship is at least a one year commitment in which the mentors spend 3-4 hours with their Little once a week.

The agency strives to match each couple or family with a child whose needs and interests correspond with the abilities, interests and preferences of the mentors. After a match has been made, the mentoring coordinator will offer

on-going support and guidance.

The Children...
The littles are between the ages of 6 and 16. In order for a boy or girl to be matched with a couple or family, the child (with the permission of his or her guardian) must want to join the Couple or Family Match Program.

Being matched with a couple or family (rather than just one adult), can benefit the child immensely by exposing him or her to a caring, respectful and healthy adult relationship.

The Couples and Families...
Adult Mentors in the program should be at least 20 years of age, and should have been together for at least one year. These formats provide flexibility by allowing one adult from the couple or family to spend time with the child if the other person is not available.

In the Family Match your children are also part of the match. The Family Match exposes our "Littles" to family dynamics that they may not have witnessed before.
